This time, we will teardown another tws earbuds that support active noise cancellation and have obtained Hi-Res certification—SoundPEATS Mini Pro HS.

SoundPEATS Mini Pro HS adopts a lightweight bean-shaped in-ear design in appearance, which is ergonomic and provides a better comfortable wearing experience. In terms of configuration, it is equipped with a 10mm bio-diaphragm speaker, supports LDAC codec, and provides lossless sound quality close to HiFi level. Support active noise cancellation, can provide 40dB noise cancellation effect. It supports three microphones for call noise cancellation, and with anti-wind noise design, the call is clear and transparent.

SoundPEATS Mini Pro HS also supports game mode, which can provide 70ms low latency, bringing a game experience with sound and picture synchronization. Equipped with APP, which can customize touch operation control, EQ sound effects, etc. In terms of battery life, the earbuds have a single battery life of 8 hours and a comprehensive battery life of 28 hours. 01/ SoundPEATS Mini Pro HS charging case teardown

Pry open the charging case and take out the cockpit interface.

The bottom structure of the charging cockpit, the battery is covered with a sponge pad for protection, and a thermistor is pasted to detect the temperature.

The side structure of the charging cockpit, the main board is fixed in the middle.

Remove the battery, charge the bottom structure of the cockpit, and fix the main board with screws.

The battery protection board circuit is equipped with DW01 lithium battery protection IC and MOS tube.

LPS LP7801TE ultra-low power charging boost single chip, designed for charging/discharging small-capacity lithium batteries. Integrates a linear charge management module, a low-power synchronous boost discharge management module, and a built-in power MOS. The charging current is externally programmable, the maximum charging current is 1A, and the standby current of the entire charging compartment is <10uA (including earbuds and protection board) when 5V is normally on.

LPS LP7801TE is packaged in ESOP-8, and the switch pin adopts high-voltage 9V technology, which can effectively absorb the high-voltage peak of production capacity when plugging and unplugging the earphones. At the same time, there is no howling sound within the full load capacity range (especially at light load). The built-in OVP and NTC are precisely adjustable, the input withstand voltage is 28V, the input overvoltage protection components are omitted, and the standby current is 1uA. The efficiency of the boost module is as high as 95%, the switch pin has high withstand voltage, fixed 5.1V output, few peripherals, and small ripple.

02/ SoundPEATS Mini Pro HS earbuds teardown

Enter the earbuds teardown section and open the sound cavity along the parting line.

The internal structure of the sound cavity, the speaker is glued and fixed, and the edge cable is connected to the microphone unit.

The rear cavity is isolated by the cover plate, and the wiring holes are glued and sealed. There are tuning holes to ensure the air circulation inside the cavity.

Take out the speaker, the lower microphone structure, and fix it with hot melt adhesive.

Take out all components inside the sound chamber.

The internal structure of the earbud front cavity is also equipped with magnets for adsorption with the charging case.

The MEMS microphone of Laser Engraving R240 A51D is a feed-back noise cancellation microphone, which is used to pick up noise from inside the ear canal, and it comes from RAYKING.

Remove the back cover of the earbud, and the battery and motherboard unit inside the cavity are fixed on the bracket.

A bluetooth antenna and a touch detection patch are arranged on the inside of the cover.

03/ Summary
