Beyerdynamic AVENTHO 300 review: Good sounding and comfortable ANC headphones

The appearance design of Beyerdynamic AVENTHO 300 is simple and elegant, and focuses on ergonomics. The headphone adopts an all-aluminum structure design, which is sturdy, durable and has a good texture. The headphone weighs about 319g, which is light and portable, and is very suitable for long time wearing.

The earcups are made of PU material, which fits the shape of the ear and feels soft and comfortable when worn. The interior is made of memory foam, which is elastic and not easy to deform. The overall structure is slightly tilted, and combined with ergonomics, it makes the daily wearing experience more comfortable fit. The AVENTHO 300 adopts an ergonomic design with a wide headbeam, which provides a more comfortable and stable wearing experience.

The right headphone is equipped with a 3.5mm AUX audio port, USB-C charging port, power/bluetooth button and noise cancellation button. It also has multiple built-in microphones to support calls and noise cancellation functions.

The AVENTHO 300 is comfortable fit and will not feel stuffy even if worn for a long time. The tilted ergonomic design of the earcups joint reduces the pressure when wearing. Plus, the earcups can be adjusted at an angle, providing higher adaptability to the diverse needs of users. It is worth noting that the headphone also supports the wearing detection function – when the user wears/takes off the headphone, the audio can be played/paused intelligently.

Connection & App & Battery Life

The AVENTHO 300 is equipped with Bluetooth 5.4 technology and supports wireless and wired connections. The connection method is also very convenient – just turn on the headphone power, press and hold the power button to enter pairing mode, and select “Beyerdynamic AVENTHO 300” in the bluetooth device list to quickly connect.

Also, the AVENTHO 300 supports multipoint connection and can connect mobile phone and computer at the same time.

Beyerdynamic AVENTHO 300 supports the Beyerdynamic App for Android and iOS. The app provides EQ settings, spatial audio management, touch panel settings, wearing detection, troubleshooting, and more.

In terms of battery life, the single battery life is up to 50 hours with ANC on. It only takes 2 hours to fully charge, and 10 minutes of charging can provide 5 hours of playback time.

    Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)

Beyerdynamic AVENTHO 300 has independent Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) function for both ears, which supports automatic adjustment of noise cancellation intensity for different environments to achieve the best noise cancellation effect. It is satisfying that the sound quality performance in ANC mode is still stable without distortion.

In actual use, the noise cancellation performance of AVENTHO 300 is very good. After turning on the ANC mode, the surrounding noise is significantly reduced, allowing you to focus more on what you are listening to; whether listening to music, watching movies or making phone calls, it can bring a purer listening experience. The ANC mode can also be adjusted step by step, with an adjustment range of 1 to 5, which can be selected according to actual needs.

Also, the AVENTHO 300 supports hybrid transparency mode, which can be quickly switched by button – you can hear the sound of the surrounding environment. The built-in microphones of the headphone can also effectively isolate background noise, and has a very good reception performance in calls and recordings.

    Acoustic Configuration & Sound Description

Beyerdynamic AVENTHO 300 review: Good sounding and comfortable ANC headphones

Beyerdynamic AVENTHO 300 has a built-in STELLAR.45 dynamic driver, supports AAC, LEAudio, aptX Lossless, and aptX Adaptive codec, can output very powerful sounds, and restore various detailed sound signals.

This dynamic driver has the characteristics of low impedance and high sensitivity, which is very suitable for use in outdoor or mobile scenes. Combining Dolby Atmos with Dolby Head Tracking technology, it creates an immersive three-dimensional sound experience. Among them, Head Tracking technology can optimize the sound according to the movement of the head, bringing a more vivid and realistic sound experience. Whether listening to music, watching movies or playing games, you can feel the immersive atmosphere.

The sounding of AVENTHO 300 is impressive, and every detail in the music is well restored. The highs is clear and bright, the mids is delicate and full, and the bass is deep and powerful. When playing symphony music, the sound of various instruments is clearly layered and does not interfere with each other; when playing pop music, the vocals are clear and natural, and the accompaniment is also full of layers.

Additionally, you can customize the EQ acoustic profile in the Beyerdynamic APP, and the 5-band equalizer can create various sound profiles or use sound presets of different music genres to adjust for different types of music or personal preferences. This intelligent sound setting enables each user to experience their own sound.

    Conclusion & Specs

Beyerdynamic AVENTHO 300 performs very well in terms of sound quality, noise cancellation, battery life and intelligence. For users who pursue high-quality music experience and comfortable wearing, the AVENTHO 300 is undoubtedly a choice worth considering. I believe that in the future, with the continuous advancement of technology, Beyerdynamic will continue to launch more innovative and competitive products to bring users a more excellent music experience.
