Nokia P3600 true wireless bluetooth earphones review

Why is there a sudden emotion? It was because I received the Nokia P3600 TWS wireless earphones that I recalled the past more than ten years ago. I was shocked that time was so merciless. Before I knew it, wrinkles were already on my forehead. Black hair has also been mixed with white hair. But what is gratifying is that I have a childlike heart, still like to touch and learn new things, and more importantly: love to play.

    Nokia P3600

The outer packaging of Nokia P3600 is aluminum alloy, and the surface is matte, which looks full of texture. I am not surprised that Nokia launched TWS earphones. After all, Nokia’s classic 5300/5730XM and X3 opened the era of music phones. I’m just curious about whether X3 phones that support bluetooth are compatible with TWS earphones now?

The charging case is a mirror plating process, which looks really advanced, but it is quite unfriendly for daily use: it is easy to be contaminated with dust and fingerprints and needs to be wiped frequently.

Nokia P3600 The Nokia P3600 charging case uses a Type-C charging port, which is much more convenient than some earphones that still use Micro USB, and the charging speed is faster. As for the battery power, I can charge the earphones about three times after a simple test, which is enough for going out.

    Nokia P3600

The smooth circular appearance of Nokia P3600 is very different from common TWS earphones, and it feels quite comfortable to wear. P3600 uses bluetooth 5.2 technology, and the connection is indeed quite stable. The addition of Qualcomm’s aptX chip also makes the sound quality more secure than ordinary TWS headphones.

Nokia P3600 We often see people turning a deaf ear to the outside world because they are too addicted to their own world, but actually put themselves in a dangerous situation without realizing it. Nokia P3600 has an ambient sound mode. By double-clicking the left earphones to switch, you can perceive surrounding sounds. It also has a game mode, which is said to reduce latency, but I don’t play games, so I can’t experience this.

    Nokia P3600

What I like about Nokia P3600 is that it can wake up the voice assistant by triple-clicking the right earphone, which is especially useful when driving. Of course, play/pause, volume adjustment, answering calls, etc. can all be operated by touch. These are all conventional designs.

Nokia P3600 is designed for hybrid driver, using custom Knowles unit, 8MM titanium alloy composite diaphragm, with higher resolution and rich layering. In fact, I am not surprised that Nokia P3600 is positioned more towards music-oriented TWS. After all, Nokia has a tradition of making music phones, and it has become a classic. Now it is reasonable to launch music TWS headphones.

    Nokia P3600

In addition to the default eartips on the Nokia P3600 earphones, it also comes with two pairs of silicone eartips, one large and one small. Users can choose the most comfortable one to wear according to their actual situation.

In order to test the call effect of Nokia P3600, I went to call on the side of the complicated road, which is close to the bus station, and there is a lot of traffic and people coming and going, which is very close to the daily use scene. After testing, I found that the noise reduction effect of Nokia P3600 is still good, quite clear, and there is no disconnection.

    Nokia P3600

Since Nokia P3600 focuses on music, it is inevitable to listen to music to test it. Of course, I can’t use online play music to test hastily. Instead, I transfer my own CD music files to my mobile phone to better ensure the quality of the audio source.

After auditioning, I think the sound quality of Nokia P3600 has the following characteristics:

    1. The overall tone of P3600 is relatively bright, which is very suitable for listening to pop music.
    2. The treble is transparent and has good detail performance, but it will not feel too sharp and harsh. The quality of the Knowles unit is indeed satisfactory.
    3. The midrange is slightly neutral, with a little warm feeling, and has good reproducibility for vocals/wind instruments.
    4. In terms of bass, the P3600 sounds a little heavier and has a more sense of volume. This is also a popular tuning style for headphones, but it may be limited by the bluetooth connection and the low frequency extension is not deep enough.
    5. If you want to say that its sound can be improved, I think it is a little dry, but also less sweet. But considering that this is a TWS earphones and its price, it’s pretty good at this price.

    Written at the end:
For those of us who have come from the 1980s, Nokia is a feeling that cannot be bypassed. In addition to satisfying my Nokia feelings, the Nokia P3600 is indeed quite convenient to use, and its sound quality can also satisfy ordinary commuting/ The need to go out to listen to music already has a reason to buy for me.
