    TOZO T6 is a popular product of TOZO, supporting Bluetooth 5.3, providing stable connection and high-quality listening experience. Supports TOZO ORIGX acoustic technology, the low-frequency can be as low as 18Hz, presenting a surging bass effect. Supports one-click pairing, smart touch, and easy and fast operation. Supports IPX8 waterproofing to meet various scenarios. The single battery life is up to 10 hours, and the total battery life is up to 45 hours. It also supports fast charging and wireless charging functions.

    01/ TOZO T6 Charging Case Teardown

    Disassemble the charging case.

    The front structure of the charging bin.

    The back structure of the charging bin has a fixed wireless charging receiving coil, and a battery is installed inside the bracket.

    The bottom of the charging bin is fixed to the motherboard with screws and soldered to all wires.

    Remove all components from the charging bin.

    The wireless charging receiving coil is set on the magnetic shielding sticker.

    The circuit on the side of the charging case motherboard.

    The circuit on the other side of the charging case motherboard.

    LPS LP7812A all-in-one smart TWS charging bin power management IC. LP7812A integrates battery charging, headphone charging, temperature management, Hall detection, button detection and LED display functions. The integrated linear charging circuit charges the charging bin while supporting an input voltage up to 28V and a maximum charging current of 0.8A. Two independent headphone charging circuits support voltage following, increasing the overall battery life by 15%.

    The voltage following principle of the LPS Hero Charge LP781X series products adopts a unique constant current source method, which does not require MCU participation in the entire process, making the implementation of voltage following simpler and more convenient, saving customer product development time, so that end products can be launched faster.

    The charging case has a built-in lithium-ion battery, model number: 901642, nominal voltage: 3.7V, rated capacity: 600mAh 2.22Wh, from PATL.

    After tearing off the insulation protection, the internal circuit is equipped with an integrated lithium battery protection IC and a thermistor for detecting battery temperature.

    XySemi XB5153I2S integrated lithium battery protection IC. The XB5153 S series is a highly integrated solution for lithium-ion/polymer battery protection in an ultra-small SOT23-5 package; Integrating advanced power MOSFETs, high-precision voltage detection circuits and delay circuits, it is an ideal solution for limited space in battery packs.


    02/ TOZO T6 Earbuds Teardown

    When you remove the back cover of the earbuds, you can find that the inside of the cavity is sealed with glue to provide better waterproof performance. The motherboard of the earbud cavity is fixed on a transparent bracket, and a battery is set inside the bracket.

    The inner structure of the cover has a bluetooth antenna and a touch detection patch. A transparent cavity structure equipped with indicator lights and microphones.

    Take out the transparent bracket, motherboard and battery.

    The bottom structure of the cavity and the magnets fixed on the cavity wall are used to adsorb and fix the charging case.

    Remove the speaker and power input connectors.

    The front of the earbud speaker.

    The back of the earbud speaker.

    After actual measurement, the speaker diameter is approximately 6.2mm.

    The earbuds have a built-in soft-packed button battery, which is protected by high-temperature insulating tape. Peel off the insulation protection and see the information on the battery label, model number: 1254-55, nominal voltage: 3.7V, rated capacity: 55mAh 0.204Wh, from PATL.

    AIROHA AB1562U bluetooth audio SoC supports Bluetooth 5.3. The AB1562 series of single-chip solutions are optimized for TWS and stereo headphones, delivering excellent audio performance, clear voice and advanced music quality in most bluetooth headset applications.

    AB1562 has a built-in Tensilica HiFi Mini processor, which is used for the I/O peripheral control, protocol stack and DSP processing functions of AB1562/1561. Supports a new generation of echo cancellation and noise reduction solutions to improve the audio quality of headphone voice calls. Supports Airoha MCSync technology, allowing seamless switching between left and right headphones for more balanced sound and low latency.

    HYNITRON HK11BP is a low-power single-channel capacitive touch chip with built-in voltage stabilizing module/low-voltage reset module. Supports hardware debouncing/environment adaptive algorithm and has strong anti-interference performance. HK11BP/PP has a simple application circuit, a large sensitivity adjustment range, and extremely low operating current. It is suitable for battery-powered application scenarios and can be widely used in consumer electronics, electronic toys, and household appliances such as bluetooth headphones.

    MEMS microphone with laser engraved QR code, used for voice call function pickup.

    Two LED indicators of different colors are used to feedback bluetooth pairing and charging status.

    03/ Summary

    TOZO T6 adopts a lightweight design, and the rounded square charging case is compact and lightweight. There are 4 indicator lights on the front, which can provide intuitive feedback on remaining power information. The bean-shaped in-ear earbuds have a simple and mini design and are comfortable to wear.

    The charging case has a built-in 600mAh lithium battery and uses XySemi XB5153I2S integrated lithium battery protection IC. The LPS LP7812A all-in-one smart TWS charging bin power management chip is responsible for charge and discharge management. Supports input voltage up to 28V and maximum charging current of 0.8A. Supports high-efficiency voltage following discharge, which can increase battery life by 15%.

    The earbud uses a 6.2mm dynamic driver and a built-in 55mAh soft-pack button battery. The motherboard is equipped with AIROHA AB1562U bluetooth audio SoC, HYNITRON HK11BP low-power single-channel capacitive touch chip, and a MEMS microphone for call pickup.

      I’m attempting to interface with the Tozo T6 motherboard. I wondered if you might have a full schematic of it showing the identity of each component along with the routing between them as it seems you have access to more documentation than I have been able to locate?
