01/ TOZO T6 Charging Case Teardown

Disassemble the charging case.

The front structure of the charging bin.

The back structure of the charging bin has a fixed wireless charging receiving coil, and a battery is installed inside the bracket.

The bottom of the charging bin is fixed to the motherboard with screws and soldered to all wires.

Remove all components from the charging bin.

The wireless charging receiving coil is set on the magnetic shielding sticker.

LPS LP7812A all-in-one smart TWS charging bin power management IC. LP7812A integrates battery charging, headphone charging, temperature management, Hall detection, button detection and LED display functions. The integrated linear charging circuit charges the charging bin while supporting an input voltage up to 28V and a maximum charging current of 0.8A. Two independent headphone charging circuits support voltage following, increasing the overall battery life by 15%.

The voltage following principle of the LPS Hero Charge LP781X series products adopts a unique constant current source method, which does not require MCU participation in the entire process, making the implementation of voltage following simpler and more convenient, saving customer product development time, so that end products can be launched faster.

02/ TOZO T6 Earbuds Teardown

When you remove the back cover of the earbuds, you can find that the inside of the cavity is sealed with glue to provide better waterproof performance. The motherboard of the earbud cavity is fixed on a transparent bracket, and a battery is set inside the bracket.

The inner structure of the cover has a bluetooth antenna and a touch detection patch. A transparent cavity structure equipped with indicator lights and microphones.

Take out the transparent bracket, motherboard and battery.

The bottom structure of the cavity and the magnets fixed on the cavity wall are used to adsorb and fix the charging case.

Remove the speaker and power input connectors.

After actual measurement, the speaker diameter is approximately 6.2mm.

03/ Summary

TOZO T6 adopts a lightweight design, and the rounded square charging case is compact and lightweight. There are 4 indicator lights on the front, which can provide intuitive feedback on remaining power information. The bean-shaped in-ear earbuds have a simple and mini design and are comfortable to wear.

The charging case has a built-in 600mAh lithium battery and uses XySemi XB5153I2S integrated lithium battery protection IC. The LPS LP7812A all-in-one smart TWS charging bin power management chip is responsible for charge and discharge management. Supports input voltage up to 28V and maximum charging current of 0.8A. Supports high-efficiency voltage following discharge, which can increase battery life by 15%.
