Appearance Design & Comfort Fit & Calls
The charging case adopts the circular design – very rare in the TWS earbuds. My first impression of HIFIMAN TWS450 earbuds is that they are compact – the design style is obviously different from the previous HIFIMAN TWS, and the appearance style is more fashionable.
Due to the structural optimization, it is more ergonomic, and the TWS450 is very comfortable to wear. They fit perfectly in the ear canal for added comfort and stability. Due to the very small size and light weight (3.5g), you can hardly feel the weight after wearing it. With the comfortable skin-like material, you won’t feel too much pressure even if you wear them for a long time.
HIFIMAN TWS450 does not support Active Noise Cancellation – but thanks to the physical characteristics of in-ear earbuds and the tight fit between the earbuds and the ear canal, the effect of passive noise canceling is not bad.
Connection & Controls & Battery Life
The earbuds uses the Bluetooth 5.3 chip and supports SBC and AAC codec. When connecting for the first time, just select “HIFIMAN TWS450” in the bluetooth device list of the mobile phone to connect quickly.
HIFIMAN TWS450 adopts the common touch control method, and can realize play/pause music, previous/next track, answer/end/reject call and activate voice assistant by double-tap, triple-tap and long-press. Unfortunately, the volume cannot be adjusted through the earbuds.
TWS450 is also equipped with ENC call noise canceling function, which can filter environmental noise and intelligently extract vocal to ensure good call effect even in noisy environment. The timbre of TWS450 continues the transparent of HIFIMAN, and the sound is warm and natural. But the difference is that it does not have a heavy HiFi taste like the previous over-ear headphones.
