INJOINIC IP5521S 30V high-voltage TWS charging bin management SOC is a multi-function power management SoC that integrates a boost converter, lithium battery charging management, and battery power indication, providing a complete power solution for the TWS charging case. The high integration and rich functions of IP5521S require only a few peripheral devices when applied, effectively reducing the size of the overall solution and reducing BOM costs.

IP5521S has a built-in synchronous rectifier boost DC-DC, built-in power tube, providing a maximum output current of 300mA, and a boost efficiency of up to 92%. The switching frequency of the DC-DC converter is 1.5MHz, which can support low-cost inductors and capacitors. The linear charging of IP5521S provides a maximum charging current of 500mA, and the maximum charging current can be flexibly configured. Built-in chip temperature protection and input voltage intelligent adjustment of charging current.

IP5521S can realize independent detection of TWS earbuds, and automatically enter the charging mode after detecting that the earbuds enter the charging case. The earbuds automatically enter the sleep state after being fully charged, and the quiescent current can be reduced to 25uA. IP5521S supports 1/2/3/4 LED lights for power display.

iCM CM1125-BBC integrated MOSFET single-cell lithium battery protection IC to realize overcharge, over-discharge and over-current protection of the battery.

The metal dome for charging the earbuds has a sponge pad at the bottom.

Four LED lights provide light for the bar indicator.

The built-in lithium battery in the charging case is protected by high-temperature insulating tape. The battery cell is labeled with a product label – rechargeable lithium-ion battery, model: 13450HV, nominal voltage: 3.8V, rated capacity: 700mAh, rated energy: 2.66Wh, charging limit voltage: 4.35V, manufacturer: Dongguan PATL Technology Co., Ltd.

    02/ Soundcore K20i EarbudsTeardown

Disassemble the earbud cavity. There is a speaker inside the front cavity and a battery inside the back cavity.

    Take out the speaker.

On the back of the speaker, there is a tuning hole on the edge, which is protected by a silk screen.

After actual measurement, the diameter of the speaker is about 13mm.

Take out the battery inside the back cavity. The built-in soft-pack button battery model: 1145, rated capacity: 43mAh 0.166Wh, nominal voltage: 3.85V.

Remove the tail plug at the bottom of the earbud stem.

Take out the internal bracket and bluetooth antenna of the earbud stem.

One side of the bracket is affixed with a bluetooth antenna and a touch detection patch. The other side fixes the motherboard unit.

Take off the motherboard, and the microphone pickup hole on the right end of the bracket is sealed with a rubber cover.
