Today, Sony released an entry-level neck hanging wireless bluetooth headphones – Sony WI-C100. This wireless bluetooth headset is available in white, black, blue and taupe styles, supports IPX4 waterproof, and is priced at 199 CNY.

The headphone has a built-in 9mm driver unit and is equipped with a Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE). Sony officially stated that this enhancement engine can restore some of the lost high-frequency details, thereby improving the sound quality of playback. It also supports Bluetooth 5.0 and 360 live sound function, compatible with SBC and AAC codec protocols, but no LDAC codec. In addition, users can set sound effects through the Headphones Connect APP officially provided by Sony.

In terms of battery life, Sony officially stated that the Sony WI-C100 can provide up to 25 hours of battery life. At the same time, the headset also supports the fast charging function. 10 minutes of charging, you can play music for 1 hour continuously.

In general, since they are entry-level headphones, it is normal to have no LDAC encoding. Although the official said that the enhancement engine can restore a lot of audio content, users should not have high expectations for the actual sound quality performance.
