    Appearance Design & Comfort Fit

QCY H4 adopts a lightweight design, which will be very light when worn on the head. In particular, the earmuffs are made of high imitation protein leather with memory foam inside – the advantage of this material is that it greatly reduces the pressure on the ears, and it is soft and skin-friendly and very comfortable to wear. Even if you wear it for a long time, you will not feel oppression or discomfort. In addition, its adjustable head beam design also allows the headset to fit heads of different sizes well, ensuring a stable fit.

The shell material of the headbeam and the earmuffs are all plastic and have been frosted. The frame of the headbeam is made of titanium alloy, which is strong and not easy to deform, and has good toughness, which can adapt to different head sizes. The inner material is memory foam, and the outer material is covered with protein leather.

The control buttons are concentrated on the right headphone, from top to bottom are: ANC button, volume +/-, power button (multi-function button), 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C charging port. In addition, the outside of the right headphone also support touch control: Touch/Release – transparency mode on/off, Single-tap – Game mode, Triple-tap – activate voice assistant. All the control methods of TWS earbuds can be done through buttons and touch area.

In addition to stretching and swiveling, the left and right earcups can also be folded – for easy storage. Unfortunately, no storage bag is included.

Connection & APP & Noise Cancellation

After the mobile phone and QCY H4 are successfully connected via bluetooth, install the QCY APP in the mobile phone to automatically recognize the headset. In the APP, you can check the remaining battery, game mode on/off, noise cancellation mode switch, and customize button functions, etc.

Also, QCY H4 supports wired connection and multi-point connection – two bluetooth devices can be connected at the same time.

After turning on ANC, the hybrid noise cancellation depth of QCY H4 can reach up to 43db. For this value, there is no way to do a rigorous test, just experience it in the subway and in a noisy environment – the highest “Boosted” noise reduction level, almost no outside noise can be heard.

In the APP, you can switch the noise cancellation mode, from low to high: Indoor, Commuting, Boosted. There is also an anti-wind noise mode for special environments. In addition, QCY H4 also supports dual-mic ENC call noise cancellation and transparent mode. After it is turned on, the normal interaction will not be affected without taking off the headset.

    Sound Description & Battery Life

QCY H4 is equipped with the 40mm NdFe strong magnetic dynamic driver, which has passed Hi-Res certification.

In terms of tuning, the low-frequency quantity is moderate, and the extension depth is general. The mid-frequency vocals are relatively restored and soft. The female voice is bright and gentle, and the position is relatively close, with a slight dental sound. High-frequency instruments are bright and crisp, with certain overtones.

The battery capacity of QCY H4 is 600mAh, and the battery life of turning off the ANC mode is up to 70 hours. The battery life after turning on ANC is up to 60 hours.

    Conclusion

The overall feeling of QCY H4 is still very good – no obvious shortcomings, exquisite workmanship and comfortable to wear. The Active Noise Cancellation, sound quality and battery life are all good. In addition, the functions of QCY APP are very rich. The only regret is that there is no storage bag.
