Have you ever encountered such a problem, that is, when you encounter strong winds when wearing headphones on the street, if you happen to be making a call, it will be particularly uncomfortable, and the other party can only hear some noise.

Today I brought omthing AirFree Plus, a sub-brand of 1MORE, which is an upgraded version of omthing AirFree.

omthing is a smart digital brand launched by 1MORE Acoustic Technology Co., Ltd. Adhering to the concept of practicality, simplicity, creativity and surprise, we focus on smart digital and peripheral products.

The packaging is relatively simple, with a white background and gray lines, without too many complicated elements. After opening the package, the charging case comes into view. Below are the basic accessories, namely the Type-C charging cable, two pairs of eartips of different sizes and the manual.

The omthing brand logo is printed on the front of the charging case, which uses engraving technology instead of direct painting. The overall is relatively small, is a flat design, looks more angular. The material is matte, which is not easy to be stained with fingerprints and scratches.

The texture of the charging case cover is good, with a certain sense of damping. The omthing AirFree Plus earphones feels comfortable after being worn, just fits into the auricle, there is no strong ear pressure, and it will not fall easily during exercise. The headset weighs only 4g, and it doesn’t feel heavy when worn.

The charging part of the earphone is pasted with a plastic film. Don’t forget to tear it off the first time you use it. omthing AirFree Plus uses bluetooth 5.2, each of the left and right earphones is equipped with two microphones, which integrates ENC call noise reduction, and the environmental microphone detects and filters environmental noise. The microphone can also intelligently enhance the human voice during a call, effectively suppressing 90% of the reverse environmental noise.

The headset has a battery life of 4.5 hours in a single use, and it has a total battery life of 23 hours when used with a charging case. Basically, it is enough to charge once a week.

In terms of sound quality, the overall feeling is deep, but a little stuffy, not very clear, and not bright enough. But the performance of the bass part feels better, and the overall performance is not bad.

Summary: The texture of omthing AirFree Plus is good, and it doesn’t show a sense of cheapness. The sound quality is not bad, and it can be considered an excellent batch at this price. Call noise reduction is a more practical function, which can solve many pain points and difficult problems. Coupled with Bluetooth 5.2 and IPX5 waterproof, the user experience is still good.
