03/ Summary

The appearance of HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 2+ continues the design of the previous generation, with a “pebble” charging case and square headset stem in-ear earbuds. The difference is that the edges of the nameplate, LOGO, and headset stem are treated with gold-plated technology, which further improves the overall texture.

In terms of internal structure and configuration, the charging case structure is similar to the previous generation, but the power solution is different. The built-in battery capacity is 580mAh, and the batteries are from LISHEN. Both wired and wireless charging methods use Renesas products, including Renesas DA9168 battery charging management chip and Renesas IDT P9221 wireless charging receiving chip. The MCU still uses the Nations N32G4FRHE chip for the overall control of the charging case.

Inside the earbuds, heart rate and body temperature detection sensors are added on the basis of the previous generation. Including the infrared and green light dual-band heart rate monitoring sensor inside the right earbud and the three temperature sensors inside the left earbud. Equipped with GOODiX GH3020 health monitoring IC, it provides ultra-low power consumption and ultra-high-precision heart rate detection function.

In other respects, earbuds is equipped with 11mm four-magnet dynamic + micro-panel tweeter unit, 2 external ear + 1 internal MEMS microphone. The main control chip is BES BES2700YP bluetooth audio SoC. It also uses AWINIC AW86862 pressure sensing IC, and ST LSM6DSV16BX 6-axis IMU and bone conduction two-in-one chip for spatial audio and call noise cancellation functions.
