Appearance Design & Comfortable Fit
Bose QuietComfort charging case is small and simple, with a size of only about 89x51x32mm. There is only a battery indicator on the front and a USB-C charging port on the back, but no bluetooth pairing button.
The case lid closes tightly and does not feel loose even when shaken. There is a groove on the lid for easy opening. The magnetic attraction between the earbuds and the charging case is also strong, so there is no need to worry about accidental falling.
Bose QuietComfort Earbuds adopt a bean-shaped in-ear design with a rounded and full cavity – closer to an oval shape. They are better than the charging case in terms of touch, texture and workmanship. A single earphone weighs about 5.8g, and I wore it for two hours without any discomfort. It is equipped with 3 sets of eartips and 3 sets of stability bands to ensure comfort and stability during intense exercise.

Like most TWS earbuds, open the charging case lid and Bose QuietComfort Earbuds will automatically enter bluetooth pairing mode. Plus, the Bose QuietComfort supports multipoint connection and can connect mobile phone and computer at the same time.

In terms of noise cancelling logic, the style of Bose QuietComfort Earbuds is similar to that of most TWS earbuds on the market. Its noise cancelling focuses on low-frequency and high-frequency, and it has extremely obvious isolation and elimination effects on car engine noise, air conditioning noise, and fan noise.
Bose QuietComfort Earbuds is more restrained in handling the mid-frequency part where human voices are located. Most of the time, people talking at close range can still be heard. When I wear them for citywalk, in addition to the vocals at close range, the tire noise on the road seems to be intentionally “transmitted” to ensure safety.
The transparency mode is the opposite of the ANC mode. This mode will completely transmit the external ambient sound, mainly for those who need to pay attention to the surrounding sound environment while riding.
The call quality was satisfactory. Although standing on the side of the road, my friend said that he could hardly hear any background noise, but the vocal was slightly distorted – it did not affect the conversation.
Sound Description of Bose QuietComfort Earbuds
Bose QuietComfort Earbuds only support SBC and AAC codec. Considering its positioning, it does not support Snapdragon Sound and BOSE immersive audio, but the sound is still the familiar BOSE style.
Compared with Bose QuietComfort Ultra, the QuietComfort Earbuds slightly weakened the low-frequency performance, but the sound quality did not decrease too much. Although the bass was weakened, the deep bass response combined with the high-energy midrange and treble still provided rich details and a wide soundstage. In the audition, whether it was pop music with prominent vocals or classical music with many instruments, the realism of the music was well restored.
The mid-frequency and high-frequency are clear and bright. The vocals are clear and layered, and the instruments sound delicate, but the low-frequency drums are still a bit lacking, and turning on the bass enhancement mode only improves it slightly.
In large-scale music, Bose QuietComfort Earbuds can present a very good sense of space. It can clearly express the layering of instruments in different positions, and the bass power is not too strong. In small-scale music, the background sound and vocals are not separated very clearly, and the hearing is relatively soft and natural, not too stimulating.
