    Anker Soundcore P30i ANC Earbuds Teardown

    Soundcore P30i is a very cost-effective product, with a small size, light weight and comfortable wearing. It also innovatively designed the invisible bracket function to enhance the user experience. Soundcore P30i is equipped with a new generation of speakers and supports BassUp technology, bringing surging dynamic sound quality. It supports smart adaptive noise cancelling function, which can automatically adjust the noise cancelling effect according to external noise, with a maximum noise cancelling depth of -42dB and a noise cancelling bandwidth of 60Hz-16Khz. Plus, it supports transparency mode.

    Soundcore K20i

    Supports 4-MIC+AI noise cancelling, effectively filtering out environmental noise and retaining real human voice. With anti-wind noise function, it ensures clear call in all scenarios. It also supports 360° panoramic surround sound and dual device connection. You can customize EQ, find headset, etc. via the app. The single battery life of the earbuds is up to 10 hours, and the comprehensive battery life is up to 45 hours.

    01/ Soundcore P30i Charging Case Teardown

    Disassemble the charging case and take out the charging bin. The bottom structure of the charging bin fixes the motherboard with screws.

    Remove the screws and remove the motherboard and battery. There are two magnets at the bottom of the charging bin to fix the earbuds. The double-sided adhesive pad on the back of the motherboard fixes the battery.

    Disconnect the wires and separate the battery and motherboard.

    Tear off the sponge pad on the outside of the battery, and the inside is also wrapped with high-temperature insulating tape for protection. Label information on the battery – Model: 13450HV, Nominal voltage: 3.8V, Rated capacity: 700mAh, Rated energy: 2.66Wh, Charging limit voltage: 4.35V.

    INJOINIC IP5521 30V high-voltage TWS headset charging case management SoC is a multi-function power management SoC that integrates a boost converter, lithium battery charging management, and battery level indication, providing a complete power solution for the TWS charging case. The high integration and rich functions of IP5521 require only a few peripheral devices when used, effectively reducing the size of the overall solution and lowering BOM costs.

    IP5521 has a built-in synchronous rectifier boost DC-DC, built-in power tube, providing a maximum output current of 300mA, and a boost efficiency of up to 92%. The switching frequency of the DC-DC converter is 1.0MHz, supporting low-cost inductors and capacitors. The linear charging of IP5521 provides a maximum charging current of 500mA, and the maximum charging current can be flexibly configured. Built-in chip temperature protection and input voltage intelligent adjustment of charging current.

    IP5521 can realize independent detection of TWS earbuds, and automatically enter the charging mode after detecting that the earbuds enter the charging case. The earbuds automatically enter the sleep state after being fully charged, and the quiescent current can be reduced to 25uA. IP5521 supports 1/2/3/4 LED lights for power display.

    Power management chip peripheral power inductor. iCM CM1125-BBC integrated MOSFET single-cell lithium battery protection IC to realize overcharge, over-discharge and over-current protection of the battery.

    Two LED indicators are used to feedback the charging status.


    02/ Soundcore P30i Earbuds Teardown

    Disassemble the back cover of the earbud stem. The inside of the cover is equipped with a bluetooth antenna and a touch detection patch. The inside of the cavity is equipped with a motherboard, which is connected to the FPC through a BTB connector.

    Pick up the connector and take out the motherboard.

    The circuit on one side of the earbud motherboard.

    The circuit on the other side of the earbud motherboard.

    The MEMS microphone of Laser Engraving R41F 1CQT, used for voice calls and noise cancelling function pickup, comes from RAYKING.

    The metal copper column connected to the charging case, with a rubber gasket seal at the bottom – dustproof and waterproof.

    The bluetooth audio SoC of JL JL7016G6, used for wireless transmission and audio data processing. On the right is a 24.000MHZ crystal oscillator, which provides clock for the bluetooth chip.

    The metal dome connected to the bluetooth antenna and touch detection patch.

    BTB connector for connecting the FPC of the components inside the earbud cavity, from OCN, model: OK-128GF006/2-35.

    XINFEIHONG FH8215 two-in-one lithium battery protection IC. Contains internal power MOSFET, high-precision voltage detection circuit and delay circuit, with all the protection functions required for battery applications – including overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent and load short-circuit protection.

    Disassemble the earbud cavity. There is a speaker unit inside the front cavity. There is a battery unit inside the back cavity.

    Disconnect the FPC and remove the battery inside the back cavity.

    Remove the speaker, and fix the rear-feed noise cancelling microphone with the hot melt column at the bottom of the front cavity.

    The main components and circuits inside the earbud cavity.

    The BTB connector connecting the FPC to the motherboard is from OCN, model: OK-128GM006/2-35.

    The MEMS microphone of the laser carving R41F 1PQT, used for noise cancelling function sound pickup, is from RAYKING.

    The front diaphragm of the earbud speaker.

    After actual measurement, the diameter of the speaker is about 10mm.

    The model of the built-in soft-pack button battery in the earbuds is: 1154H, rated capacity: 60mAh 0.231Wh, nominal voltage: 3.85V, from PATL.

    All components of Soundcore P30i true wireless noise cancelling earphones.


    03/ Summary

    The charging case is equipped with a PATL 700mAh lithium battery and uses the INJOINIC IP5521 TWS management SoC – integrated with boost converter, lithium battery charging management, battery level indicator and other functions. It supports 30V high withstand voltage and has a boost efficiency of up to 92%, providing an excellent power solution for the charging case. It uses the iCM CM1125-BBC lithium battery protection IC to protect the battery from charge and discharge.

    The earbud is equipped with a 10mm dynamic driver and two RAYKING MEMS microphones for voice calls and noise cancelling. The main control chip of the earbuds is JL JL7016G6 bluetooth audio SoC. The built-in battery capacity is 60mAh and is equipped with XINFEIHONG FH8215 two-in-one lithium battery protection IC.
