Vivo TWS 3 Pro takes the experience of using vivo’s true wireless earphones to a higher level with its independent professional audio chip, aptX lossless transmission and 360° surround spatial audio. At the same time, it leads the industry with full-link true wireless Hi-Fi technology, opening the door to a new world.
Appearance Design & Comfortable Fit
The charging case uses multiple techniques to bring mirror luster, while making the gradient blue more dynamic. Different lighting and angles present different perceptions. There is an indicator light in the middle, and the vivo brand logo is below. On the right side is the pairing button, which is also quite hidden visually. At the bottom is the Type-C charging port.
Thanks to the streamlined water drop headset stem design, the Vivo TWS 3 Pro earbuds are 2mm shorter than the previous generation. At the same time, the volume is reduced by 6%, further reducing the burden of wearing. The side groove of the headset stem is a pressure-sensitive area, and supports sliding operation at the same time, which can directly control the earbuds and adjust the volume. There is a microphone hole on the top of the headset stem, and a microphone hole and charging contacts on the bottom.
The black circular area on the earbud cavity concentrates the pressure relief hole and wearing detection sensor. The former can maintain the pressure balance and air circulation inside and outside the cavity, and improve the acoustic performance of earbuds, while the latter is used to automatically pause/resume playback, and automatically switch the noise cancellation state.

After actual measurement, the overall weight of vivo TWS 3 Pro is about 45.2g, and the weight of a single earbud is about 4.9g. The weight is well controlled, the wearing feeling is light and comfortable, and it is not easy to cause discomfort after long-term use.
Connection & App Support
In terms of connection, Vivo TWS 3 Pro is equipped with Qualcomm S5 flagship audio platform, which supports Snapdragon Sound and aptX Lossless transmission. Earbuds adopt Bluetooth 5.3 and LE Audio bluetooth audio technology, support LC3 audio coding, and the full link latency is as low as 55ms.
When connecting for the first time, just select “vivo TWS 3 Pro” in the bluetooth device list of the mobile phone to connect quickly. Open the charging case for subsequent use to connect to bluetooth devices such as mobile phones that have been successfully paired. And TWS 3 Pro supports dual device connection. The earbuds are normally connected to the mobile phone within a distance of 10 meters, and the sound quality is stable. In a scene without obstacles, if the earbuds are more than 11 meters away from the phone, the connection will be unstable and the sound will be intermittent.
When used with a vivo/iQOO mobile phone, the first connection can be quickly paired and connected through the one-key connection function. And subsequent connections to other mobile phones or tablets that log in to the same vivo account will automatically pop up to connect when the cover is opened, without pairing again. After connecting, you can check the connection status and remaining power of the device in the phone settings, and customize a series of functions. Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) & Calls
In order to achieve a better comprehensive noise cancellation effect, Vivo TWS 3 Pro allows the newly added independent professional audio chip and Qualcomm S5 audio Soc chip to participate together. With a new optimized acoustic algorithm, the depth of noise cancellation can reach 49dB, which can effectively eliminate wind noise and human voice, and can adapt to the intelligent adjustment of the environment. The noise cancellation bandwidth reaches 4000Hz. In addition to heavy low-frequency noises such as subways and airplanes, it can also better reduce medium and high-frequency noises such as human voices and crying.
There are three noise cancellation modes of deep, standard and mild to choose from, and intelligent dynamic noise cancellation can also be turned on. Supports dynamic detection of environmental noise and changes in wearing status, and adaptively matches the most suitable noise cancellation mode. It avoids excessive ear pressure or insufficient noise cancellation depth caused by improper noise cancellation, and continuously and stably provides the most appropriate noise cancellation experience.
After turning on the intelligent dynamic noise cancellation function, I tested several different scenes in the order from quiet to noisy. After actual experience, the response speed of earbuds to adjust the intensity of noise cancellation is very fast.
Indoor: Using mild noise cancellation indoors can eliminate the noise generated by the air conditioner and the host computer when it is running. At the same time, the ear pressure is low, and it is very comfortable to use for a long time.
Outdoor: Outdoor noise is louder and more complex and changeable, and TWS 3 Pro also performed well. Whether passing through the air conditioner or the parking lot area, it can suppress most of the noise very well.
Roadside: Walking to the side of the road, TWS 3 Pro recognizes the loud noise generated by passing vehicles, which will increase the intensity of noise cancellation and effectively weaken the severe low-frequency noise. Using a portable power tester to conduct a wired charging test on vivo TWS 3 Pro, the charging power is about 2.14W. When the earbuds turn off the ANC mode, the single battery life can reach up to 6.8 hours. With the charging case, the total battery life can reach 30 hours. At the same time, vivo TWS 3 Pro supports fast charging function: charging for 15 minutes, listening to music for 4.5 hours.

In other respects, vivo cooperated with professional medical equipment manufacturers to customize 2 high-precision dedicated temperature sensors for vivo TWS 3 Pro. Therefore, TWS 3 Pro has the function of real-time monitoring of body temperature, and this function basically does not consume extra power. The headset stem integrates both pinch and slide operations. The earbuds support IP54 dustproof and waterproof.
Disadvantages:
The touch experience is not good, not precise and sensitive enough. If you pinch the internal parts of the headset stem, there will be an uncomfortable harsh sound (it is not ruled out in individual cases). When sliding up and down, it will touch the ears and face, which is uncomfortable. Spatial audio I think is a bit worse.
Advantage:
Very light and very comfortable to wear. In terms of comfort, I think it surpasses Apple. When Apple turns on ANC for a long time, my ears will hurt, and I will feel a little dizzy and nauseous. This does not happen when vivo wears it for a long time, which is great. The real-time temperature monitoring function is also very good.
