Appearance Design & Comfortable Fit
Under the fully transparent shell of the charging case, the internal storage compartment and earbuds are clearly visible. On the back of the charging case is the brand name in dotted characters, and the surface of the case is decorated with concave and convex textures.
The round pairing button on the right side of the charging case is full of metallic luster, and the Type-C charging port part is red for decoration. The earbuds can be taken out by rotating the red end, and there are spring thimbles and indicator lights inside the storage compartment.
The earbuds are similar to Nothing Ear(1), the headset stem shell is completely transparent, and the internal black structure can be seen at a glance. The top of the headset stem uses white and red dots to distinguish the left and right ears. Next to the dot is the microphone hole. The more rounded cavity appears to be slightly larger than other half-in-ear earphones.
The shell of the earphone sound cavity is mainly white, and the sound outlet is in the shape of a strip, and the surface is covered with a metal mesh to prevent foreign matter from entering. There are pressure relief holes on the edge of the cavity, which can balance the internal and external pressure, maintain air circulation, and improve the acoustic performance of earbuds. The headset stem has charging contacts on the inside and a microphone hole on the end.
There is also a microphone hole on the outer edge of the earbud. Each earbud has three microphones, which are relatively rare in half-in-ear earphones. Relatively speaking, compared to TWS earbuds with single and dual microphones, there will be hardware advantages in terms of call noise cancellation.
After actual measurement, the overall weight of Nothing Ear (stick) is about 54.6g, and the weight of a single earbud is about 4.5g, which is considered to be well controlled. The earbuds are also ergonomically designed, and the wearing experience is light and comfortable. The half-in-ear structure is more conducive to reducing the pressure on the ears during long-term wearing.
Connection & App Support
Nothing Ear (stick) adopts Bluetooth 5.2 technology, which has good compatibility and stable connection. When connecting for the first time, simply select “Ear (stick)” in your phone’s bluetooth device list to connect quickly. Open the charging case for subsequent use to connect to bluetooth devices such as mobile phones that have been successfully paired. The earbuds can be charged when placed in the charging case, and the connection is automatically disconnected when the case is closed.
Nothing Ear (stick) is connected to the mobile phone stably within a distance of 10 meters. In a scene without obstacles, the connection will be intermittent if the distance from the mobile phone is more than 11 meters.
Nothing Ear (stick) supports the latest Nothing X APP, which can be downloaded and installed by both Android and iOS users. After adding the device binding, you can check the device connection status and remaining power in the APP.
The equalizer can be switched through the APP, and there are four EQ presets to choose from: balance, bass boost, treble boost and vocal. You can also set a custom EQ, which increases the playability of the sound. The control setting is to adjust the corresponding operation of the pressure-sensitive control to make it more in line with your own personal habits and usage needs.
Click the upper right corner to enter more settings interface, where you can turn on/off the automatic ear detection function and low-latency mode. And use the find earphones function or upgrade the firmware for earbuds, etc.
Battery Life & Calls & Gaming Mode
Use a portable power tester to perform a wired charging test on Nothing Ear (stick), and the charging power is about 1.71W. The single battery life of earbuds is up to 7 hours, the charging case can provide an additional 22 hours of battery life, and the overall comprehensive battery life can reach up to 29 hours. At the same time, Nothing Ear (stick) supports fast charging function: charging for 10 minutes, listening to music for 2 hours.
Each earbud has three microphones, combined with the new Clear Voice Technology algorithm, it can accurately capture sound information and filter out most noises. Effectively separate and amplify sound from ambient noise, greatly reducing the impact of wind noise and background noise during calls.
In addition, Nothing Ear (stick) also has a low-latency mode, so watching videos and playing games will not cause the problem of out-of-sync audio and video. The IP54 waterproof rating is convenient for users to exercise and go out, without worrying about sweat and raindrops damaging the earbuds.

Nothing Ear (stick) earbuds built-in 12.6mm custom dynamic driver. There is also the blessing of Bass Lock Technology (dynamic bass adjustment technology), and a new intelligent algorithm detects the bass loss when earbuds are worn, preventing the half-in-ear design from leaking sound and affecting the sense of hearing. You can also adjust the EQ curve to achieve better results, ensuring precise and powerful bass effects when listening.
In the actual experience session, I randomly selected some rock and pop songs for trial listening. Thanks to the 12.6mm large size dynamic driver and Bass Lock Technology, Nothing Ear (stick) does not lose points in terms of low frequency performance due to the half-in-ear design. Dispelled my concerns about the sound quality of half-in-ear earphones.
In terms of sense of hearing, Nothing Ear (stick) is realistic enough to restore the music itself. The low frequency is powerful, the mid-frequency is full, the high frequency is bright, and the separation of vocals and instrumental music is good.
