    GravaStar P9

I believe that many straight men of steel will be knocked down by the style of GravaStar P9 WAR-DAMAGED (Gravastar Sirius Pro), and I am one of them. Luxurious hardware and excellent tuning have brought us sound quality in line with its price level.

    Unboxing & Accessories

    GravaStar P9

GravaStar’s products are mainly based on bluetooth speakers and headphones, and the appearance style is the route of mechanical science fiction. I especially like the design of the WAR-DAMAGED Edition, full of the vicissitudes of history. Combining the brand name and theme style, the first term that comes to mind is “Star Wars”. Although the packaging of GravaStar P9 is made of engineering plastics, the black retro painting is full of metal texture.

The back of the package is the product technical standards and specifications, unlike other brands that simply indicate the working voltage and current. GravaStar carefully printed the details of earbuds’ bluetooth version, sound unit, battery life, noise cancelling function, in-ear detection, charging case and earbuds size. Users can know the main parameters of the product without going to the official website or manual inquiry.

A metal handle is designed on the side. For players who like to collect, it is convenient to hang the box for display. The manufacturer’s design details are very well considered.

    GravaStar P9

Open the lid and the charging case and accessory box are embedded in black crash foam. The size of the card position and the opening of the mold are designed very accurately, not loose or tight, and the protection effect is very good.

    GravaStar P9

The GravaStar P9 WAR-DAMAGED comes with three pairs of eartips in different sizes. Each eartip has a separate fixed position, which will not cause deformation due to squeezing.

    Appearance Design

    GravaStar P9

Different from the plastic material of the packaging box, the charging case is made of alloy, but the two are not inconsistent with each other, and they are full of metal mechanics. With the mottled turquoise fonts, people instantly think of battlefields, gunpowder smoke, positions, and ordnance.

The charging case adopts a hollow design as a whole. The top of the earphone is fixed with two metal tabs, and the letters L and R are engraved on the left and right.

The Type-C charging interface and function buttons are designed at the bottom. Press and hold the function button for 5 seconds to restore the factory settings, clear the bluetooth memory, click to turn on the atmosphere lamp, and double-click to turn off.

    GravaStar P9

The atmosphere lamp is designed at the bottom of the hollow position in the middle of the charging case, with a total of 6 RGB colors: blue, red, green, yellow, orange, and cyan. Click to switch between 6 colors. After fixing, the color of the indicator light when charging will also change accordingly.

There is a circular mechanical button engraved with the “GravaStar” LOGO pattern on the side, which can be pressed to open the lid. The feel is similar to opening the Zippo cover, which has a great operational texture and can be used as a decompression tool when you are bored.

    GravaStar P9

The GravaStar P9 also ships with a metal chain that can be wrapped around the wrist or hung around the neck. For fashionistas, it is a very good cool accessory.

    GravaStar P9

The overall design of earbuds is round with tough lines. The first half of the cavity is a common black design, and the second half is a WAR-DAMAGED style that echoes the theme. The earbuds feature the “GravaStar” LOGO pattern on the front and “GravaStar” letters on the side.

    Control & Noise Cancelling

The location of the GravaStar LOGO pattern is the touch interaction area of the earbuds.

    Control of GravaStar P9:

    • Tap once L or R earbud: play/pause music, answer/hang up
    • Double tap L/R earbud: previous/next song, reject call
    • Triple tap L or R earbud: switch music mode/movie mode
    • Long press L/R earbud 1.5s: volume-/volume+
    • Four tap L or R earbud: wake the voice assistant

Unfortunately, GravaStar P9 does not support active noise cancelling. However, having the function of noise cancelling for ENC calls can play a significant role in improving call quality. Tested in a noisy bus and subway environment, most of the noise will be filtered out, and the other party can hear the sound very clearly.

    Sound Quality & Battery Life

GravaStar’s investment in hardware has always been at no cost, otherwise it will be difficult to support the high price simply by virtue of its excellent design. GravaStar P9 is equipped with a Bluetooth 5.2 chip, and with the all-round decoding algorithm, the connection speed, stability, delay and sound quality have reached the first-line level.

    GravaStar P9

Singaporean acoustic master Gates created a unique acoustic architecture for GravaStar P9. Under the blessing of 7.2mm composite diaphragm dynamic and Knowles armature, GravaStar P9 brings extremely high sound quality analysis ability, which can accurately restore the real sound of each frequency band.

Low frequency: The sound field is wide, full and powerful, and the dive is deep and elastic, which can add a surging and solid texture to the overall atmosphere.

Mid frequency: The human voice is full and clear, the exhibition is natural, and the affinity is very good.

High frequency: transparent and bright, full of luster, not harsh, easy to retract.

The earbuds have a battery life of 4 hours when fully charged, and the charging case can provide an additional 12 hours of battery life, for a total battery life of 16 hours. Compared with the more than 20 hours of battery life of other brand earbuds on the market, GravaStar P9 still has a lot of room for improvement.

In addition, GravaStar P9 WAR-DAMAGED also supports IPX5 waterproof, which can easily deal with general rainy weather and sports sweat.
