In September last year, QCY launched an ANC TWS earbuds – QCY HT05. According to the market environment at that time, it was mainly aimed at users who had strict noise reduction requirements, and the cost-performance was very high. The QCY T13 ANC focuses on entry-level Active Noise Cancellation, and the price is lower.

Design and Comfort
The charging case continues the space capsule design of QCY T13 and optimizes the streamline. The whole is more rounded and full, and the texture of the pure white matte shell is very rich. The top of the charging case is printed with the QCY logo, and there is a USB-C charging port on the right.
The magnetic clamshell structure has a raised design inside. The tough edges add a sense of layering, which is more advanced than the flat form of QCY T13. The multi-function button is also changed from round to square, and the overall style is much more harmonious.
The shape of T13 ANC earbuds adopts a universal mold, there is nothing special about it, but the details have been optimized. The oblique ear design based on ergonomics will fit the auricle better, which can block mid-high frequency noise to a certain extent and enhance the sense of immersion.
Three pairs of eartips are included, a pair pre-installed on the earbuds. There are four sizes of eartips (XS/S/M/L), which can meet the wearing needs of most users. The actual wearing effect shows that the fit between the earbud cavity and the auricle is very good, it is firm and stable, and it will not fall off during running or light sports.
Connectivity, APP and Control
QCY T13 ANC adopts Bluetooth 5.3 technology, which has good compatibility, strong anti-interference ability and stable connection. When connecting for the first time, just select “QCY-T13 ANC” in the bluetooth device list of the mobile phone to connect quickly. Open the charging case for subsequent use to connect to a successfully paired bluetooth device. The earbuds is connected to the mobile phone stably within a distance of 10 meters. In a scene without obstacles, the connection starts to appear intermittent when the distance from the mobile phone exceeds 10 meters.
On the APP, you can check the power, switch the noise reduction mode, adjust the sound effect and change the skin of the pop-up window. Including sound effect mode switching, more functions will be gradually opened with the firmware upgrade later.
The top of the earbud is the touch area, which can be used for simple operations in our daily use. Pause/play, answer/hang up, volume +/-, previous/next, wake up voice assistant, ANC on/off and other functions can be realized by single-tap, double-tap, triple-tap and long press. With the QCY APP, you can define your own controls according to your usage habits.

Noise Reduction, Calls and Game
The maximum noise reduction depth of QCY T13 ANC can reach 28dB, which is a fairly satisfactory value without excessive pursuit of extreme performance, but it can meet the daily needs of most users. In daily use, in environments such as carriages and shopping malls, turning on the ANC mode can greatly reduce the impact of ambient noise. You don’t have to turn up the volume too much when listening to music or watching videos.
The ANC intensity adjustment method of the earbuds is quite characteristic, and the value can be freely set within the range of 0-100%. Even the pickiest ears can find a suitable noise reduction level. In addition to noise reduction, the strength of the transparency mode can also be adjusted, which is very nice.
The earbuds adopts the 4-Mic+ENC call noise reduction solution (2-Mic per earbud), through 4 high-sensitivity microphone arrays and the ENC noise reduction algorithm, it can filter out most of the environmental noise during the call. After actual testing, in noisy subways and buses, both parties to the call can hear clear voice content.
In addition, T13 ANC also supports transparent mode and 25km/h anti-wind noise function. The contrast effect before and after the transparent mode is turned on/off is obvious, and the normal social communication will basically not be affected when listening to music. It is a pity that there is no way to test the anti-wind noise in the urban environment.
Thanks to Bluetooth 5.3, the latency after turning on the low-latency mode is as low as 68ms, which can bring a good sound and picture synchronization effect in the game.
Sound Quality and Battery Life
QCY T13 ANC uses a 10mm bio dynamic driver, and is equipped with a high-elastic PU hem and a high-tension CCAW coil. The tri-frequency is balanced, the overall listening experience is very comfortable, and the performance of some bass music is not weak. The low frequency is relatively good, I feel that its timbre is more accurate, and its three-dimensional effect is better.
With the ANC turned off, the QCY T13 ANC can listen to music for up to 7 hours at a time, and with a 350mAh capacity charging case, the total battery life can reach 30 hours. Even if the ANC mode is turned on, the battery life can reach 5.5H+23.75H.
