Deliveries of the Apple AirPods Pro 2 started last Friday. The first batch of users who bought it should have already got earphones and started the hands-on experience.

On the AirPods Pro 2, Apple added a new feature to it. Users can increase/decrease volume by swiping up or down on the AirPods Pro headset stem touch sensor. The purpose of adding this function is to allow users to adjust the volume more conveniently. But some users find this feature useless, and even increase the risk of accidental touches during use.

In the iOS 16.1 beta, Apple made some adjustments to this problem. On the accessibility page for the Apple AirPods Pro 2, a new touch-controlled switch has been added. Users can choose whether to enable or not according to their own needs. In addition, as before, users can also customize the press and hold function of the AirPods Pro headset stem. It can activate Siri, turn on ANC, etc.

The iOS 16.1 version is still in testing and is expected to be officially released in October.
