Appearance Design & Accessories

The appearance design of the FIIL CC Nano charging case adopts an open charging case design, and the overall appearance continues the design style of the FIIL CC2. The size of the charging case is reduced compared to FIIL CC2.

The charging case is made of gray frosted metal material, combined with the overall sharp and tough metal lines. After 0.45mm of high-gloss chamfering, the edges and corners are extremely delicate and smooth. This exterior designed by the German DesignAffairs team also highlights FIIL’s unique and innovative new concept.

The front of the charging case is the FIIL brand logo, which is also a breathing light. When the earbud is taken out or put back, its breathing light will come on. Or when charging, the breathing light will also be on.

FIIL CC nano adopts a semi-in-ear design with a square structure, and the design of earbuds also continues the style of FIIL CC 2. The earbuds are smaller in size than FIIL CC2, and the length of the headset stem is reduced by nearly half.

Comfort Fit & Call & APP Support

FIIL CC nano adopts a semi-in-ear design, the cavity is also reduced, and the weight is lighter. Comfortable to wear, suitable for long-term wear. The operation experience also supports touch operation, but when the earbuds are worn, the square headset stem is triangular, and there is a possibility of false touch.

The FIIL CC Nano has excellent call performance in a noisy environment because it has dual-mic+AI call noise cancellation. Integrating intelliGO AI technology, through deep neural network (DNN) optimization algorithm, with dual-mic hybrid call noise cancellation, both the left and right earbuds can make high-definition calls.

FIIL CC nano has a built-in exclusive fiil+ tuning system, and earbuds can be used with fiil+ App. In the APP, you can check the power status of earbuds, and you can also DIY your favorite sound effects. There are 3+12 preset sound effects and 10-band EQ custom sound effects. For example, electronic sound, rock, treble, bass and other sound effects can be set here, which basically can meet the needs of most users for listening to songs.

The low-latency mode can also be set in the APP, including three different low-latency modes of game mode, music mode, and video mode to choose from. After turning on the low-latency mode, the latency can be greatly reduced when playing games, listening to songs, and watching videos.

Dual Device Connection & Battery Life

In the APP, you can also set the connection mode of the bluetooth earphones, and you can set single-point connection, dual-device connection and multi-point connection. FIIL CC nano can connect to two bluetooth devices at the same time, for example, FIIL CC nano is connected to a laptop and a mobile phone at the same time. When using a laptop to listen to songs, the phone suddenly calls, FIIL CC nano will automatically switch to the call state. When the call ends, the earbuds will automatically connect to the computer to play music. The whole process does not need to manually pause the playback, and the whole process is automatically switched, which is convenient and fast.

The earbud has a single battery life of about 5.5 hours, the charging case can charge earbuds fully 4.5 times, and the total battery life is about 30 hours. FIIL CC nano supports fast charging protocol, adopts Type-C interface, and can be fully charged in 1.5 hours.

Low Latency Game Mode

FIIL CC nano can open the game mode in the APP. After turning on the game mode, the latency of earbuds is as low as 70ms, which ensures a low-latency gaming experience for users.

As for the game test, I still chose Game For Peace, a shooting game that requires relatively high latency for bluetooth earphones. In the game, FIIL CC nano basically does not feel the latency, and can achieve audio and video synchronization. The sound of gunshots and footsteps in the game is also relatively clear, and the position of the enemy can be located through the sound of footsteps. In terms of detailed performance, it also creates very good conditions for the victory of the game.

Acoustic Configuration & Sound Quality

FIIL CC nano is equipped with Bluetooth 5.2 protocol, and the chip supports AAC+SBC audio decoding. The earbuds are equipped with a 13.1mm custom LDP diaphragm dynamic driver, and the large dynamic blessing makes the sound range wider.

In terms of sound quality adjustment, although earbuds enhance the bass part, due to the congenital defect of the semi-in-ear form, it will inevitably leak sound, and the bass extension is still insufficient. The high frequencies of the FIIL CC nano are soft and the mids are delicate. The overall tri-frequency is balanced, and the sound quality is greatly improved compared to FIIL CC2.
