DJI MIC 2 continues the design style of the previous model and is smaller and lighter overall. At the same time, retro dialing wheels and transparent shell elements are incorporated to make the product more technological.

DJI MIC 2 supports stable wireless transmission up to 250 meters. It supports omnidirectional radio and focuses on optimizing the listening experience of human voices. Supports professional-grade 32-Bit floating-point internal recording, better retaining complete audio information through high dynamic range. Supports smart noise cancelling, which effectively reduces environmental noise and highlights the main voice. It also has a safety track function to prevent sonic boom.

The DJI MIC 2 transmitter has 8GB of built-in storage space, which can store about 14 hours of 48kHz 24-bit uncompressed audio. It can be used for audio backup when shooting or as a voice recorder. In terms of battery life, both the transmitter and receiver support 6 hours of battery life, and the charging case provides about 2 additional times of power supply. When the receiver is connected to a mobile phone, it can be used while charging. Let’s take a look at the detailed teardown report of DJI MIC 2.
