Design, Comfort and Battery Life

The charging case adopts a cobblestone appearance design, and the case has almost no tough lines. On the front of the charging case is the UGREEN logo and indicator light. The bottom features a USB-C charging port and a multi-function button.

UGREEN HiTune T6 earbuds are designed with a long headset stem, which is the same glossy material as the charging case. The touch area of the earbud has a shallow groove, which enhances the discoverability of the touch area. In addition, there is a white indicator light built in the upper part of the headset stem on the right side, which is used to prompt the connection status of the earbuds.

UGREEN HiTune T6 is no different from most in-ear wireless earbuds – just take the earbuds out of the charging case and put them in the external ear canal to complete wearing. The factory-installed eartips of HiTune T6 are already suitable for the size of most people’s ear canals, and they are generally not crowded or too loose. The earbud cavity fits closely to the auricle, and the weight of the earbud can be well distributed to all parts of the auricle.

Thanks to the ergonomic design and 4 sets of ear tips, HiTune T6 has strong wearing stability – even when jogging and cycling, the earbuds did not fall off.

The battery capacity of the charging case is 400mAh, and the earbud is 40mAh. After the ANC mode is turned off, the single battery life is up to 7 hours, and the total battery life is up to 30 hours. The battery life after turning on the ANC mode is about 4 hours.

Connectivity, App and Control

The earbuds uses the Bluetooth 5.3 chip and supports SBC, AAC and LDAC codec. When connecting for the first time, just select “UGREEN HiTune T6” in the bluetooth device list of your mobile phone to connect quickly.

Also, UGREEN HiTune T6 support multipoint connection function – after completing the connection of one device, put the earbuds into the charging case -> turn off the bluetooth of the first device -> connect the second device.

In addition, HiTune T6 also support linkage with UGREEN App. You can view real-time information such as battery level and connection status on your mobile phone through the App. You can also choose EQ sound effects, noise cancellation mode, touch control customization and so on.

The controls of UGREEN HiTune T6 are very comprehensive and the overall operation is quite simple. Play/pause music, previous/next song, answer/end calls, switch ANC mode, etc – can be realized through the touch area of the headset stem.

Noise Cancellation and Calls

The active noise cancellation capability of UGREEN HiTune T6 is remarkable, and the 48dB noise cancellation depth can eliminate most of the low-frequency environmental noise. For example, the engine sound and tire noise of the car, the noise when the subway is running, and so on. Mid-high frequency noise is also somewhat eliminated – keyboard clicks, nearby conversations, etc.

UGREEN HiTune T6 also provides 3 noise cancellation modes: Deep Noise Cancellation, Medium Noise Cancellation and Mild Noise Cancellation – which can be switched according to the environment.

The earbuds also support the transparent mode, which can transmit external environmental sounds into the ears. In scenarios such as running and meeting, you can hear the external environment sound while hearing the sound clearly. However, the ambient sound in this mode will have a slight noise floor, and there is still room for improvement.

UGREEN HiTune T6 has the 6-MIC AI call noise cancellation function. When using HiTune T6 to make a call, I found that the sound of the call collected by the earbud is relatively clear. Even in the scene of strong wind, subway or shopping mall, the vocals can still be clearly transmitted.

Sound Quality of UGREEN HiTune T6

As TWS earbuds that have obtained Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification, sound quality is one of the selling points of UGREEN HiTune T6.

I connected HiTune T6 to a mobile phone that support LDAC decoding and listened to different types of tracks such as pop, rock and drum – I was quite pleasantly surprised by the sound quality of UGREEN HiTune T6.

The tri-frequency of the earbuds can be restored accurately. Thanks to the 10mm dynamic driver + peptide-plated diaphragm and LDAC decoding, HiTune T6 can fully present the details in the audio. In terms of overall listening experience, the soundstage of the earbuds is relatively wide, and the default EQ tuning will be more inclined to pop songs. The low-frequency quantity is sufficient and prominent.

Verdict

UGREEN HiTune T6 strengthens the wireless noise cancellation function, and has obtained the A-level standard noise cancellation certification of CHINA AUDIO INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION. Added LDAC codec and passed Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification – Offers a flagship-level experience at a reasonable price.
