Scientic SDHL1608F100MT fully magnetically shielded precision wire wound inductor is one of the SDHL1608 series. Inductance value: 10μH±20%, DC resistance: 1500mΩ±10%, saturation current: 320mA, temperature rise current: 270mA, used to supply power to the internal circuit of the bluetooth chip, and to supply power to the internal circuit of the wireless SoC.
SDHL1608 series fully magnetically shielded precision wire wound inductors are packaged in 0603 (inch size), with optional inductance of 1μH to 22μH standard range, small size and high current. Suitable for TWS earbuds, IOT devices, smart watches, smart bracelets, communication modules, facial recognition modules and other applications.

02/ Soundcore VR P10 earbuds teardown
Enter the earbuds teardown section and remove the back cover of the headset stem.

The 24.000MHz crystal oscillator provides the clock for the wireless SoC.

TPS SY5501 power management chip is a chip specially designed for TWS earbuds, providing a perfect solution for charging and isolation communication. The chip integrates linear charging management, discharge protection, single-wire two-way data communication and I2C communication interface, which is convenient for users to realize earphone charging and discharging management and protocol communication. The maximum charging current of SY5501 can be adjusted by an external resistor, and it also supports constant current charging ICC and floating charging voltage VFLOAT gear I2C adjustment. The chip integrates NTC detection and protection functions to more safely charge and discharge the battery.
SY5501 has battery discharge protection and ship mode functions, which can meet the low power consumption requirements of the earphone system. The chip integrates private control instructions, and the charging case can send instructions to control SY5501 through VIN, so as to realize the on/off and reset operations of the main control of the earphones. SY5501 also supports intelligent identification of the status of the earphone in the charging case, and proactively notifies the earphone master. SY5501 is rich in functions and low in power consumption, which shortens the development cycle of bluetooth headsets. The simplified QFN14-1.6mmx1.6mm package saves a lot of space for the bluetooth headset solution.

03/ Soundcore VR P10 charging case teardown
Enter the charging case teardown part, and take off the lower part of the charging case shell.
The back structure of the charging cockpit is fixed by screws, and the FPC cable with function buttons is attached.
The bottom of the charging cockpit fixes the motherboard with screws.
There are two small boards on the back of the charging cockpit for charging the earbuds, which are respectively connected to the main board through wires.
The battery is fixed inside the belly of the cockpit, which plays a very good protective role.
The main components inside the charging case include the motherboard, power input board, battery and two FPC cables.
Set the bluetooth pairing function button on an FPC cable.
An RGB indicator light and a Hall element are arranged on the other cable.
The Hall element of silk-screened InBt senses the magnetic field change (Hall effect) when the charging case cover is opened/closed. Realize opening the earbuds to stop charging and connect to the bluetooth device (default reconnection after pairing and connection), and closing the earbuds to power off and charge.

The overcurrent protection point can be set through external resistors, with a minimum accuracy of 10mA, and the overcurrent protection response time can be adjusted through capacitors, which can meet the overcurrent protection requirements of various dongles and various projects. In addition to the above rich functions, the SOT23-6 package is compatible with most simple overvoltage protection ICs on the market.

TPS SY8801 bluetooth headset smart charging compartment solution, integrated charging module and discharging module, charging current and discharging cut-off current can be adjusted externally.
SY8801 uses the output power and ground to realize the communication between charging case and earbuds. The chip integrates standard I2C interface and interrupt signal to facilitate the communication between the chip and MCU. At the same time, the chip also provides load detection and load insertion identification. SY8801 is very suitable for the design of charging case, simplifies the peripheral circuit and components, and provides an easy-to-use solution for the application of charging case.
Cooperate with the power management chip to manage the charging and discharging of the built-in battery with magnetic glue power function inductor. From Scientic, the model is SWFI3015S3R3M, which is a part of the SWFI Series series, with the advantages of small size and high sensitivity.
An unmarked MCU single-chip microcomputer is used for the overall control of the charging case.
