Anker has released dedicated gaming earbuds for Meta Quest 2 – Soundcore VR P10. At the same time, this is the first audio device to receive the official “Made For Meta” certification. The product is currently available on the official Meta store, Amazon and the official Soundcore store, priced at $69.
The Soundcore VR P10 is specially designed for VR games, equipped with 11mm dynamic driver and BassUp low frequency technology. The VR P10 can simultaneously connect to a mobile device using Bluetooth 5.2 and listen to music or movies.
Additionally, it can be paired with the included 2.4Ghz USB-C dongle for an even better audio experience. Among them, the dongle is compatible with the LC3 codec. Featuring Soundcore LightningSync wireless technology, it provides a low-latency connection between the device and earbuds, reducing audio latency to 30ms, ideal for gamer groups. Using a wireless dongle ensures that the audio prompts are consistent with what the Meta Quest 2 displays.
The Soundcore VR P10 is capable of connecting multiple devices simultaneously. It allows users to connect up to four wireless dongles simultaneously in different devices. For example, users can plug in one dongle for the Meta Quest 2, another for the PlayStation 5, a third dongle for the Valve Steam Deck, and a fourth wireless dongle for a gaming PC. This way you don’t need to physically switch individual dongles between devices. The user can then switch the active dongle using the Soundcore App.
Lastly, the Soundcore VR P10 has up to 6 hours of battery life, and you can extend your gaming sessions further with the dongle’s external USB-C power cable. Not only that, the VR P10 features 4 built-in microphones with beamforming to reduce background noise and amplify the user’s voice during calls.
The product is currently available on the official Meta store, Amazon and the official Soundcore store, priced at $99.99. The USB-C wireless dongle will be available separately in mid-to-late November for $14.99.
