Appearance Design, Comfort and Battery Life

The charging case adopts the rounded rectangular design and has a frosted texture throughout, making it less susceptible to fingerprints. The “♪” logo is printed in the center of the lid, and there is an opening button below the lid.

Because Soundcore AeroFit Pro use an earhook design, the charging case will be larger than most in-ear and semi-in-ear earbuds. However, due to the more reasonable internal structure, it can still be put into the jeans pocket.

Soundcore AeroFit Pro earbuds adopt the three-stage earhook design, which can be roughly divided into earbud cavity, earhook and neckband connection module. There is a control button on each inner edge of the cavity. At the end of the earhook, there is a slot on each side for connecting the neckband.

Thanks to the no-in-ear open-ear design, AeroFit Pro does not have a part that goes deep into the ear canal like in-ear earphones. When wearing, the ear canal remains open, which is very comfortable for users who don’t like their ears to be blocked and who hate ear pressure.

Also, the AeroFit Pro’s earhook curves fit comfortably to the contours of your ears without being too loose or too tight. With the earhook structure, the weight of the earbuds can be well distributed throughout the auricle, taking into account both wearing stability and comfort.

After connecting the earbuds to the neckband, the AeroFit Pro can become a structure similar to a “neckband earphones”. The stability when wearing will be further enhanced.

The large charging case is equipped with a large battery, the battery capacity reaches 750mAh/2.775Wh. The earbuds have a single battery life of up to 14 hours and the total battery life of up to 46 hours.

Connectivity, App Support and Controls

In terms of pairing connection, the connection process of AeroFit Pro is similar to that of most wireless earbuds. Under factory conditions, the indicator light turns on after opening the charging case cover, and then select “soundcore AeroFit Pro” from the mobile phone’s bluetooth list to complete the connection.

Also, AeroFit Pro support multi-point connection function, which can connect two bluetooth devices.

As a headphone product under Soundcore, AeroFit Pro also support Soundcore App. After opening the App, you can control functions such as EQ, spatial audio on/off, multi-point connection, etc.

Different from the touch control scheme of TWS earbuds and other open-ear headphones – AeroFit Pro uses a physical button control scheme, and the control button is located on the upper side of the sound cavity. By single-tap or double-tap, you can adjust the volume, switch tracks, pause/play, answer/end call, etc.

Sound Quality and Spatial Audio

Soundcore AeroFit Pro has built-in 16.2mm titanium-plated dome dynamic driver. Flagship-level hardware combined with bass enhancement (BassUp) and LDAC codec make the overall listening experience of AeroFit Pro very dynamic.

The low-frequency quantity of AeroFit Pro is sufficient, powerful and has excellent extension ability. The mid- and high-frequency performance is also very good, with excellent overall transparency and rich details.

Also, AeroFit Pro supports 360° head-tracking spatial audio. Select “Spatial Audio” in “Sound Effects” in the app and turn on head tracking – the earbuds will dynamically track head movements to achieve the 360° surround listening experience.

After turning on spatial audio, the soundstage will be enhanced to a certain extent. Moreover, head tracking can also bring a certain dynamic soundstage effect. However, in the current version, spatial audio will have some negative effects on sound quality. I hope that in future version upgrades, the spatial audio experience will be more transparent and the soundstage response will be faster.

Conclusion

As Anker’s first non-in-ear open-back headphones, the Soundcore AeroFit Pro is powered by soundcore acoustic technology, making it comfortable to wear while still maintaining an excellent listening experience. With BassUp technology, the low-frequency performance of earbuds is particularly excellent among open-ear sports headphones.
