Sony officially released a new generation of over-ear noise cancelling headphones —— WH-1000XM5. Referring to the new design, the ear pads are made of newly developed soft leather, which makes it more suitable for the contour of the ear. At the same time, it can isolate external noise, and with the newly designed bracket, it can achieve a comfortable wearing experience.

Officials claim that it has the best noise cancelling technology to date. Through Sony’s newly developed V1 processor, the potential of the QN1 noise cancelling processor is fully utilized, and eight microphones can be controlled to achieve an unprecedented noise cancelling experience. At the same time, with the help of Auto NC Optimizer technology, noise cancelling performance is automatically optimized according to external environmental factors such as wearing conditions and atmospheric pressure.

In terms of sound quality, it is equipped with a specially designed 30mm dynamic driver, which enhances the clarity from low frequency to high frequency and restores a more natural sound quality.
