01/ QCY T20 AilyPods charging case teardown
Now enter the teardown section to see the internal structure configuration information.
Pry off the charging case cover and take out the inner cockpit.

The motherboard unit is fixed by screws at the bottom of the cockpit.
A battery is set inside the cockpit, protected by a sponge pad.
Remove the screws and take out the motherboard, and the battery wires are soldered to the motherboard.
Take out the battery unit, and the whole thing is wrapped in a sponge pad to improve safety.
The bottom structure of the cockpit is equipped with three magnets for adsorbing the charging case cover and earbuds.
Remove the battery sponge pad and the silkscreen information on the built-in battery in the charging case. Model: VDL501233PN2, voltage: 3.7V, capacity: 220mAh/0.814Wh, from VDL.

TPS SY8812 is a SoC chip specially designed for bluetooth headset charging compartment, using 3mmx3mm QFN16 package. The chip integrates a charging module and a discharging module. The charging current can be adjusted externally. The discharge module integrates two output current limit switches, provides independent load presence detection and load insertion detection, and supports output current detection. The chip integrates NTC protection function to charge and discharge the battery more safely.
TPS SY8812 optimizes the performance of product application design reliability, the input withstand voltage is up to DC30V, and the chip has passed the IEC62368 safety certification. SY8812 is very suitable for the design of the bluetooth headset charging box, which greatly simplifies the peripheral circuits and components, and provides an easy-to-use solution for the application of the bluetooth headset charging box.
According to 52audio, the TPS power management chip has been adopted by Baseus, Xiaomi, OPPO, OnePlus, realme, 1MORE, Baidu, Edifier, JBL, Harman, Lenovo and other brands.

02/ QCY T20 AilyPods earbuds teardown
Go to the earbuds teardown section. Pry open the cavity along the parting line, and the front and rear cavities are covered with sponge pads for protection.
Tear off the foam pad, front cavity internal speaker.
Take out the speaker, and the inside of the cavity is protected by a fine dust-proof net to prevent foreign objects from entering the cavity.

After actual measurement, the speaker size is about 13mm.
Tear off the sponge pad in the rear cavity, and a soft-pack button battery is installed inside.
Take out the battery, a bracket is arranged inside the rear cavity to isolate the battery and the main board.
Take out the bottom of the back cavity of the bracket, and solder the speaker and battery wires on the motherboard.
The battery label has the parameter information of the product, model: 1040, voltage: 3.8V, capacity: 35mAh/0.133Wh.
A QR code is silk-screened on the back of the battery for product traceability.
Remove the end plug of the earphone handle and pull out the main board, which is covered with a shielding sticker; the end-of-call pickup microphone is provided with a rubber cover to seal to improve the radio performance.

The peripheral power inductor of the main control chip is the Scientific SDHC1608F4R7M magnetic shielding precision wire wound inductor, which is one of the SDHC1608 series. It has the advantages of low DCR, improved efficiency and extended standby time. The top is high-density magnetic powder, which has higher permeability than traditional precision wound inductors. Both sides are also magnetic shielding structures to optimize spatial interference to surrounding devices.

QCY T20 AilyPods adopts a simple and stylish design in appearance. The oval-shaped charging case is compact and lightweight, with a skin-like coating, which is delicate to the touch and comfortable to hold. The earbud curve is similar to “AirPods 3”, with piano paint process, smooth and round texture, 4.0g body with semi-in-ear design, light and comfortable to wear.
The internal structure configuration is relatively simple. The charging case has a built-in VDL 220mAh lithium battery and uses Type-C input power. The TPS SY8812 charging bin SoC single chip is responsible for the battery charge and discharge management, the input withstand voltage is up to 30V, and the NTC battery temperature protection function is integrated. The XySemi XB5332B lithium battery integrated protection chip is responsible for the overcharge, overdischarge, overcurrent and load short circuit protection functions of the battery.
The earbuds use a 13mm dynamic driver and a 35mAh soft pack button test battery, which are respectively connected to the motherboard through wires. On the main board, the main control chip adopts JL AD6973D bluetooth audio SoC, supports Bluetooth 5.3 and single/dual microphone noise cancellation, and is matched with two MEMS microphones to pick up sound to achieve clear call effect.
