01/ JBL TUNE Beam Charging Case Teardown
Disassemble the transparent shell and take out the charging bin. The charging bin is equipped with a motherboard, a small board for charging earbuds, an indicator light for FPC connection, and a small Hall element board. The battery is set on the back.
Remove all components from the charging bin.
The bottom structure of the charging bin is equipped with four magnets to absorb and fix the charging case cover and earbuds.
The charging case has a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack, model number: 981642, nominal voltage: 3.7V, rated capacity: 750mAh 2.775Wh, charging limit voltage: 4.2V, made in China.
Tear off the external insulation protection of the battery, and the silk screen information on the battery core is consistent with the external label.

LY ICP1205 is a linear charging IC that supports two-way power line communication. It is an analog front-end designed for the TWS earbuds system. ICP1205 integrates programmable linear charging, power path management, carrier and transparent communication, headset transport mode and other functions, and has extremely low operating power consumption and standby function. The chip supports multiple complete protection functions, and supports bluetooth master control firmware upgrade and data transmission functions.
ICP1205 is paired with ICP1106 to support efficient charging mode. The chain case output voltage can be adjusted according to the headphone battery voltage, improving the chain case battery capacity conversion rate by about 20%.
