Jabra announced the new Jabra Elite 5 true wireless earphones at IFA 2022. It is the successor to the Jabra Elite 4 Active, positioned below the Jabra Elite 7.
The earbud has a special appearance, the same design as the Jabra Elite 4 Active. Not small in size and available in two colors, I personally prefer off-white.
Jabra Elite 5 supports Alexa and Google Assistant voice assistants and is equipped with a 6mm neodymium magnetic dynamic driver. The battery capacity is unknown, and it can last up to 7 hours in a single session. When used with the charging box, the total battery life can reach 28 hours.
However, the Jabra Elite 5 offers IP55 certification, not the higher IP57 rating.
Also, it has six microphones instead of four. Of course, the Jabra Elite 5 also offers ANC functionality. Supports Bluetooth 5.2 and multi-device connection.
More details are yet to be announced, but it is expected to be available soon. The price is expected to be slightly more expensive than the Jabra Elite 4 Active.
