Recently, Samsung released the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pokémon Edition on the official Korean website. This is another deeply customized Pokémon co-branded product between Samsung and Nintendo after the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 Pokémon Edition.

According to Samsung Korea’s official website, the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pokémon Edition package includes: Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 earbuds, Pokémon Poké Ball protective case, and Pokémon stickers. Users can open the charging case by pressing the button in the center of the Pokémon case. At the same time, the Pokémon Edition offers five color options (green, black, purple, white, black) like the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 that are currently on sale. The Pokemon Ball case also works with the Galaxy Buds Pro and Galaxy Buds Live.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pokémon Edition comes with a random Pokémon sticker. There are eleven stickers in total, including: Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Jigglypuff, Ditto, Dragonite, Lapras, Eevee, Gengar, Mew.

According to the official website, if you are lucky enough, there is a 5% chance of getting a limited number of holographic Mew stickers.

Except for the changes in appearance, the Galaxy Buds 2 earbuds are the same as the regular version. The appearance continues the design of the Galaxy Buds Pro, and the color uses a contrasting color inside and outside. The outer shell of the charging box is white, and the interior is the same color as the earbuds. The earbuds are bean-shaped in-ear designs. The weight of a single earbud is only 5g, and the wearing process is light and without feeling. Samsung also provides three different sizes of silicone eartips for users to choose from, which are suitable for most people and ensure a comfortable and stable wearing effect.

The earbuds are certified by UL (Underwriters Laboratories) in the United States, can reduce external ambient noise by up to 98%, and support three-speed adjustable ambient sound modes. Built-in three sets of microphones and a VPU voice pickup unit provide clear voice call effects. The AI algorithm intelligently reduces the external ambient sound during calls, and the low-prominence microphone design can reduce wind noise and ensure the quality of calls in various environments.

According to the official website, the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pokémon Edition can provide a single battery life of 5 hours when the ANC mode is turned on, and the charging box can provide an additional 15 hours of battery life, achieving an overall battery life of 20 hours on a single charge.

At present, the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pokémon Edition is only available on Samsung Korea’s official website, priced at 134,000 won. And the product page shows that the product is in preparation, and the sale time is unknown. The specific sales time and whether there are sales plans in other countries and regions have yet to be officially announced by Samsung.
