EDIFIER NeoBuds S true wireless hybrid noise cancelling earphones teardown


On March 20th, Edifier has launched NeoBuds S true wireless noise-cancelling earbuds that support Qualcomm Snapdragon Sound technology, priced at 898CNY.

According to reports, Edifier NeoBuds S supports Qualcomm Snapdragon Sound and Qualcomm aptx Adaptive technology, bringing an audio experience up to Hi-Res specification 24bit/96kHz, retaining more sound details.

Regarding Qualcomm Snapdragon Sound technology, we learned that this technology supports 16-bit 44.1kHz CD-level lossless bluetooth sound quality, 24-bit 96kHz ultra-high-definition Bluetooth sound quality, and 32kHz ultra-wideband voice supports ultra-clear calls. The technology brings creators the ability to record in stereo, making recorded content sound in stereo and a stable connection even in complex RF environments.

In terms of acoustics, it is officially said that the Edifier NeoBuds S earbuds have built-in dynamic+armature dual units. The knowles armature unit has high sensitivity and excellent resolution, and the composite dynamic unit has excellent low frequency performance. Through the patented technology of active electronic frequency division, the advantages of the two are complemented, and the armature unit and the dynamic unit can be efficiently controlled and coordinated to work in the frequency spectrum they are good at, and can achieve accurate street connection.

In terms of noise cancelling, Edifier NeoBuds S earbuds can reach -42dB. In terms of battery life, the earbuds have a single battery life of 6 hours (ANC 5.5 hours), up to 25 hours with the charging case, and support for 1 hour of charging for 10 minutes.
