Audio equipment manufacturer Edifier launched two wireless headphones at CES 2021, namely Edifier TWS NB2 Pro and Edifier GM5, and Edifier D12 bluetooth speaker with classic wood grain processing. Following Edifier TWS NB, TWS NB2 Pro is a wireless headphones with noise reduction technology. After testing and certification, this headphones can block mid-frequency and low-frequency environmental sounds, and is said to provide balanced sound while protecting users from external interference.

The ambient sound function allows users to hear and be aware of the surrounding environment while listening to music and podcasts. Its IP54 rating means it has dust and moisture resistance, which is useful for those who are exercising or on the go.

Edifier TWS NB2 Pro uses Qualcomm’s low-power chipset and a compact large-capacity lithium battery. Edifier claims that with the active noise reduction function turned on, the Edifier TWS NB2 Pro can last up to 7 hours, and the active noise reduction is turned off , It can be up to 9 hours. The charging case can provide an additional 23 hours of playback time, and 15 minutes of charging can give the headphones 2 hours of playback time. Edifier plans to launch TWS NB2 Pro in March, priced at $99.

As the second wireless headphones disclosed by the company, Edifier GM5 provides environmental noise reduction. The four microphones are helpful for phone and mobile game communication. Gaming is the main target market for personal audio accessories. Edifier has increased the use of Qualcomm’s AptX low-latency technology to achieve minimal delay in the process of gaming or streaming. Two audio profiles can be used in the headphones to enhance the sound according to the user’s preference. In addition, you can also pause the playback by removing the headphones, and switch from the dual headphones setting to the single headphones mode at the same time. When used alone, Edifier GM5 can work for 8 hours on a single charge, and the charging case can add 32 hours of use time.

The Edifier D12 bluetooth speaker is a portable desktop speaker with a solid frame and wood grain treatment on the surface. Containing four sound units, this speaker is said to provide a balanced sound, with high separation between high and low frequencies, and a deep tone, which is not available in ordinary desktop speakers. Inside are a pair of 20W woofers and a pair of 15W tweeters, which can realize so-called high-quality audio playback. The top three dials are used to fine-tune the bass, treble and volume. It provides connectivity through bluetooth 5.0, and can also support earlier versions of bluetooth. The Edifier D12 bluetooth speaker will be available on February 20th, priced at $99.
