CustomTune technology brings sound quality and noise cancellation experience upgrade, and ActiveSense technology enhances transparent mode performance
CustomTune technology debuts in the Bose QUIETCOMFORT Earbuds II. The technology turns on automatically when the user removes and wears the earbuds. Users can hear a unique Bose sound effect, and at the same time, the built-in microphone will measure the reflection of the sound effect in the ear canal. earbuds then accurately customizes the user’s exclusive hearing effect and noise cancellation experience according to the measurement results. All this will be done in less than 0.5 seconds.
On the sound side, CustomTune technology optimizes audio distribution for each person’s unique ear canal structure, so that the sound reaching the eardrum is exactly what the musician expects: lifelike, detailed, clear and deep. To achieve a more powerful noise canceling effect, CustomTune technology can also automatically calibrate the noise canceling signal transmitted to the ear, significantly improving the noise canceling experience. Especially for the noise frequency bands that were difficult to eliminate in the past, such as close-range human voices, the cry of a baby on the bus, or the interference in the office. The Bose QUIETCOMFORT Earbuds II can fade out before the user even realizes it. At the same time, CustomTune technology can sense the noise changes in the user’s surrounding environment in real time to maintain a strong noise cancellation performance at all times.
The customized smart tuning provided by CustomTune technology can also be combined with ActiveSense technology to significantly improve the effect of Transparency Mode. In Transparency mode, ambient sounds are clearer and sound vivid and natural. In the event of strong noise disturbances, ActiveSense technology can provide customized noise cancellation that suits the user’s individual hearing experience. Instantly cancels noise when it occurs, and automatically stops when it ends.
The Bose QUIETCOMFORT II has four microphones on a single earbud: one on the inside and three on the outside. Used to sense, measure, and deliver noisy signals to custom chips powered by Bose’s exclusive algorithms. Combined with tiny sensors, the system responds precisely within milliseconds, emitting opposite acoustic signals, delivering an extraordinary noise-cancelling experience unique to Bose.
New Fit Kit eartips set: Built for comfort and stability
In order to achieve the powerful noise canceling effect of Bose QUIETCOMFORT Earbuds II, first make sure that the earbuds are highly suitable for the ear. The product divides the traditional one-piece eartips into two parts: a stable ring that fits the pinna and an umbrella-shaped silicone eartips, which combine to ensure a secure and tight fit.
The FitKit eartips set offers 3 sizes of stabilizing rings and eartips for up to 9 combinations. Considering that every ear is different, even the left and right ears of the same person can have subtle differences. FitKit can be freely matched between different sizes, so that users can find the most suitable combination for themselves and enjoy a comfortable and stable wearing experience all day long. The newly adopted advanced materials and manufacturing process ensure that the stabilizing ring and eartips are soft and compliant while being durable and easy to replace.
The newly added “wearing test” in the Bose Music App further ensures the fit of the product to the ear. The system tests whether the earbuds have sound leakage by playing the sound effects in CustomTune, ensuring that QUIETCOMFORT Earbuds II provides each user with a customized hearing feast and powerful noise cancellation performance.
