For subsequent use, open the charging case to connect to the paired bluetooth device. The earbuds can be charged by putting them back in the charging case, and they are automatically disconnected when the lid is closed.

The Baseus Bowie WM05 was tested for wired charging using a portable power tester, and the charging power was about 1.8W. Baseus WM05 has a battery life of up to 5 hours in a single time, and the charging case can provide an additional 23 hours of battery life. At the same time, Baseus Bowie WM05 supports fast charging function, charging for 10 minutes and listening to songs for 2 hours.

In the Baseus APP, you can view the power and connection status of the device, and manage and set the device. Users can switch the working status of earbuds in the APP. At the same time, the APP has as many as 12 preset EQs and custom EQs to meet more needs. In-ear sensing playback, low latency mode and touch mode also support custom settings.

Noise Cancellation & Calling

The left and right earbuds each have two built-in microphones, which jointly realize dual-feed active noise cancellation, and the maximum noise cancellation depth can reach 43dB. In the noise cancellation state, there are three modes to choose from: commuting, indoor and outdoor. In addition, you can also choose a custom noise cancellation mode, support 10-level noise cancellation adjustment, and fully meet various noise cancellation needs. At the same time, it supports transparent mode, which can cope with more usage scenarios.

From the actual experience, the performance in indoor scenes is good, and the noise of electrical appliances such as air conditioners, water dispensers and refrigerators can be well controlled. All that’s left is the subtle keyboard sounds and the voices of friends talking, which can be completely covered by playing music. At the same time, the ear pressure is also maintained within a comfortable range, and there will be no discomfort after prolonged use.

The feed-forward and feed-back microphones are also used to achieve 4-mic call noise cancellation, and are assisted by AI neural network algorithms. It can suppress noise in real time, extract human voice, and at the same time reduce echo, so that the voice of the call is purer and clearer.

Sound Quality & Latency

The earbud has a built-in 10mm dynamic driver and a PU polymer composite diaphragm. Support AAC audio codec, more sound details can be preserved when listening to music. In the actual audition, I randomly selected some popular music for audition. Baseus WM05 performs stably in all aspects, the sound is relatively balanced, and the overall sound is natural and durable.

In addition, Baseus Bowie WM05 supports Baseus self-developed dual-channel low-latency technology (DCLL), with a minimum latency of 38ms. It is also a good helper for daily use to watch videos and play games. Low latency mode needs to be turned on or off in the Baseus APP.
