The size of the headphone sound quality is inseparable from the size of the speaker unit. The larger the speaker unit, the better the dynamic effect. Indian company NOISE launched a TWS headset in 2020——noise Air Buds true wireless earphones. Equipped with 13mmdynamic driver, bluetooth 5.0, 45mAh battery capacity and 500mAh chassis battery capacity.

52audio recently got the noise Air Buds true wireless earphones and teardowned them. If you are interested in the internal structure of the earphones, let’s take a look.

The appearance of noise Air Buds true wireless earphones. With a handle-shaped semi-in-ear design, the headphone handle is short and the headphone head is round and full.

Use a portable power tester to perform a wired charging test on the noise Air Buds charging case. The charging voltage is about 4.99V, the charging current is about 0.47A, and the charging power is about 2.35W.

Through the unpacking part, we learned in detail about the exterior design of the noise Air Buds true wireless earphones, and learned some of the internal structure through the opening positions. Now enter the teardown part to take a look at the internal structure configuration information in detail.

First, separate the charging compartment shell and the cockpit.

The charging compartment shell is assembled through the buckle and the charging cockpit.

On the back of the charging cockpit, the T-type motherboard is fixed to the charging cockpit by screws, and the earphone holder is equipped with a magnet to absorb the earphones.

There are also two magnets under the charging plate to absorb the earphone handle.

On the back of the charging board, there is a Pogo Pin connector for charging the earphones.

Disassemble the battery, the battery is fixed with the double-sided tape and the small charging board, and connected to the main board contact by the red and black wires.

TPS SY8821 bluetooth headphone charging SoC, a chip specially designed for bluetooth earphone compartment. A charging module and a discharging module are integrated inside the chip. The charging current can be adjusted externally. The discharge module integrates two output current limit switches, provides independent load presence detection and load insertion detection, and supports output current detection. Enter the earphone teardown part and pry open the earphone cavity along the parting line.

The internal structure of the front cavity of the earphone is equipped with a speaker.

A battery unit is arranged inside the back cavity of the earphone, which is fixed by white glue.

Unpack the battery. The battery comes from Hubei Liju New Energy. The battery has a diameter of 10mm, a thickness of 5.4mm, a capacity of 48mAh, a rated voltage of 3.7V, and a charging limit voltage of 4.2V.

|4. Summary

The noise Air Buds true wireless earphones adopt a semi-in-ear design in appearance, and the pure white color looks high-quality. The charging case uses a small rounded square design.

In terms of internal circuits, the charging case uses Type-C interface input power, built-in lithium-ion soft pack battery capacity 500mAh, equipped with circuit protection board and protection IC, connected to the motherboard through wires and sockets.

For bluetooth audio, it uses BES WT230 ultra-low power consumption 5.0 bluetooth SOC, supports dual-mode bluetooth 5.0, integrates high-performance Cortex-M4F MCU and serial flash memory to support various functions of the earphone.
